Ohioans Stranded On Highway For Ten Hours

There are backups, and then there are backups. Travelers on I-76 Monday night were forced to sit in truly nightmarish snarled traffic after semi-trucks jackknifed and various accidents blocked lanes. The closures were complicated by the abundant snow, which made clearing the disabled vehicles more than the usual chore.

Six, seven, even ten hours — this is how long people sat in their cars to get home. Awesome.

NewsNet5 talked to one commuter, Jessica Hosfield, who spent ten hours in the car with her 5-year-old son, who she was nice enough to take a picture of in front of the gridlocked mess. We're not sure how we would have handled the jam, but surely it would have been worse than this kid.
