Update: 'The Lord' (aka John Julius) pleaded not guilty to charges of abduction, attempted abduction, receiving stolen property and failing to comply with a police order.(WKYC)

What does the Lord do before His obviously busy Sundays? Well, he hangs out around Westlake and forces his way into unsuspecting motorists' cars. Naturally. He spends all week listening to your prayers and creating natural disasters. He's allowed one day of tomfoolery.

Of course, this wasn't The Lord, but simply John Julius, a likely troubled 54-year-old who said he was The Man.

According to NewsNet5, Julius began his interesting odyssey around 5:16 a.m. when in front of a car, got in the passenger side, and began hitting the driver in the face, a decidedly un-Christian thing to do. Julius alerted the victim to his holy status and frantically said there were people after him and he just needed a ride. Perhaps he could have said this before punches were thrown, but whatever. Who are we to question Him?

The victim was able to toss Julius from the car and call the cops. But Julius wasn't done. He tried to get into another car, this time driven by a woman, just down the road from the first incident. Fortunately, the doors were locked.

Unable to secure safe passage in a car, Julius then found a bike belonging to a Westlake High School student and began cycling around. Police finally caught up to him and charged him with abduction, attempted abduction, receiving stolen property, and failure to comply with police orders.

The topper: Julius told cops he was an "aspiring Olympic weightlifter," which seems like an odd hobby for The Lord. Wouldn't He win every time, you know, being able to lift whatever he wanted and all?
