If you're not following @CLEtacos on Twitter, you should be. As the name implies, the taco-lovin' belly behind the account searches out and passes along the best taco deals in Cleveland. Useful, no?

They've displayed such expertise and passion in their extensive coverage that we asked them to break down their favorite Taco Tuesday offers across the city just for you. They didn't disappoint. Be prepared to be hungry.

Don’t Get Guac-Blocked: All You Need to Know About Taco Tuesday in Cleveland

Cheap and delicious. That's the common theme for what's becoming one of the more popular nights to go out in Cleveland. Taco Tuesday has become a fan favorite on an otherwise slow night. In most cheap and delicious Taco Tuesday cases, "cheap" only applies to the price. Even though most taco offerings hover around a buck or two, most use quality ingredients and are a heck of a lot better than anything you'd ever find during your 2am late night meal.

If you have been lucky enough to experience a Taco Tuesday already, you know that your evening won't be strictly limited to a few tacos — most places offer hard to resist drink specials as well. And last time we checked, nothing goes better with tacos than a few of our favorite Mexican beers.

Here are three of our favorite spots around town, and then a semi-comprehensive list of Taco Tuesdays near you.

1. Lincoln Park Pub is the go-to spot in Tremont. They offer $1.25 beef or bean tacos, $2 combo tacos (beef & bean) or $2 chicken tacos. All the tacos are served on a lightly deep-fried soft shell with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and your choice of hot sauce. The hot sauce is what makes these tacos happen; it separates the men from the boys in the taco world. All Mexican beers — Negra Modelo, Modelo Especial, Corona, Corona Light, Tecate, Dos Equis Amber, Dos Equis Lager, Bohemia and Pacifico — are $2.25. Margaritas are $3.25.

LPP tends to get busy on Tuesdays, so it's a good idea to get there early and get a table. They have a nice patio for eating and drinking outside on warm evenings. This might be the best "cheap" Taco Tuesday option in town.

2. West End Tavern in Lakewood. They offer $1 beef tacos and $2 Coronas. These are simple tacos, with beef, cheese, lettuce and tomatoes, but the shells are what stand out here - they're fried and made fresh. The tacos at West End Tavern may not offer diverse fillings, but if you're craving a traditional taco at a cheap price, West End is a great option. Again, get there early for seating, as it becomes more crowded with regular bar patrons later in the evening.

3. While most Taco Tuesday participants like LPP and West End Tavern offer up your standard "cheap" ground beef tacos, there is one newcomer on the Taco Tuesday scene who stands above the rest. Open since late September, Deagan's Kitchen and Bar in Lakewood has thought beyond ground beef, and offers up creations you can't find anywhere else in town.

Chef Demetrios Atheneos (formerly of Bodega) has created five irresistible tacos, all wrapped up in a soft flour tortilla. On any given Tuesday, you'll find these tacos on the Taco Tuesday menu: Grilled Chicken Taco (with spanish rice, guacamole, tillamook white cheddar and micro cilantro), Adobo Braised Beef Taco (with sharp cheddar, pico de gallo and micro cilantro), Spicy Shrimp Taco (with tillamook white cheddar, guacamole and micro cilantro), Soy Chile Glazed Yellowfin Ahi Tuna Taco (with asian slaw, guacamole and micro cilantro) and a Vegan Taco (with pico de gallo, spanish rice, guacamole and micro cilantro). The chicken, beef and vegan tacos will run you $2 a piece, and the higher end shrimp and tuna tacos will set you back $3 each. Trust us, they could easily charge more for these… they're that good.

Deagan's has become so popular, that they generally sell between 600-700 tacos every Tuesday. In addition to their five regular tacos, Deagan's has started offering a "Special Taco" each week. So far, these "special" creations have included rabbit, hanger steak, crispy gator and pulled pork. In the future, Chef Demetrios has plans for variations including duck, crispy fish, kobe beef and tofu, among others. Stop in at Deagan's on any Tuesday from 5-10pm and you will be able to try any one of their five taco creations, plus whatever "Special Taco" is being featured. Get there before 7pm and you'll also be able to take advantage of $1 off all drinks (and trust us, you'll want to get there before 7pm anyway, or you'll be waiting for awhile).
