We've long been on the "drunk mom with kid in the car" beat, chronicling the misfit mothers who pop it into gear, but only after first popping a brew. It's unforgivable, avoidable, and just sad.

What tops that trend? What puts even the drunk mom with tots in tow to shame?

How about pregnant drunk mom with kid in car? Yeah, that's a new low.

Meet 25-year-old, 8-months pregnant Tomeka Stockwell, who found herself pulled over by Mentor cops just before 1 a.m. on last Saturday after concerned motorists phoned in a possible drunk driver to authorities.

Tomeka, it turns out, was saucy, failing field sobriety tests, which probably didn't come as too much of a surprise after police found open beer cans in her vehicle. In the backseat was her 3-year-old son, buckled, but not in a car seat.

Stockwell was charged with a variety of offenses; her son was released to relatives, according to NewsNet5.
