Teens Rob Kids' Lemonade Stand

Posted By on Thu, Jul 7, 2011 at 11:32 AM

St. Peter will not be smiling upon a group of teens who followed the lowest of low paths to financial gain recently by robbing a lemonade stand. Cops and neighbors don't know who they are, but St. Peter surely does.

The AP reports some children in Strongsville were pursuing that most novice and wholesome capitalistic endeavor, running a lemonade stand on their street, when some teenagers in a car pulled up and threatened to beat them down. Two guys and three girls were in the car as they took the day's score, $13.50, and drove off, presumably to kick dogs, taunt old women at nursing homes, pants every kid at the local debate tournament, and steal from every "Make a Wish" donation box in the county.

One of the victims, an 11-year-old, tried to chase the vehicle, but to no avail. $20 was anonymously donated at the Strongsville police department for the kids, because America is not solely populated by assholes.
