New Rush DVD Recorded in Cleveland Coming Out in November

Posted By on Tue, Sep 20, 2011 at 12:07 PM

Our favorite old-school Canadian rockers Rush will release a DVD on November 8. It's called Time Machine 2011: Live in Cleveland, and as you can probably guess from that title, it's live. And it was recorded in Cleveland.

So if you were one of the 20,000 or so people who were at the sold-out show at the Q in April, you may see yourself singing along playing air drums to "Tom Sawyer."

It's coming out on Blu-ray too, so you'll see all those lines you've accumulated on your face over the past 30 years.

The DVD includes the full performance of Moving Pictures that Rush played at the Q. There's also a whole bunch of other songs on there too, plus two tour videos.

Time Machine 2011: Live in Cleveland marks the first time a Rush concert recorded in the U.S. will be released (they've released four other concert movies over the years).

It's Rush's way of thanking our city for giving them a chance back in the early '70s, when everyone else was too busy laughing at Canadians. —Michael Gallucci
