2012 Is the Year of Missed Love Connections at Golden Corral

Posted By on Tue, Apr 10, 2012 at 2:02 PM

A notable trend is emerging on the Cleveland Craigslist Missed Connection boards: Golden Corral, that hot spot of infinite mashed taters and endless mini meatballs, is ground zero for missed love connections.

Not only do folks actually head down to buffet central (who knew?), they're bumping into people left and right, passing ships in the ocean of gravy, and they're reaching out to the internet for some help, beaming out their missives with delightful and poetic opening lines sure to make a woman swoon. For instance: "We were waiting near the Chicken and Potatos [sic]." Swoon.

In the spirit of love and never-ending food, we share them with you here today with a small hope that we can push one of these couples together. It's already clear where their first date would be, after all.

Beautiful girl in Golden Corral - m4w - 24

We were waiting near the Chicken and Potatos. You cut in front of me without realizing, and apologized several times when you noticed. I assured you that it was alright and I didn't mind.

I wanted to tell you that you were tremendously polite and considerate. Not something I'm used to from attractive women.

You were wearing a grey hoodie with a pink shirt underneath, and a pair of jeans.
Can you tell me what color shirt I was wearing so I know if it's you replying?

If you read this, Please email me. I'd very much like to take you out for a coffee or something. Hopefully you read this. :)

Waitress at Golden Corral - m4w - 52 (Elyria)

My Daughter and I came in on 4/3
You were not my waitress, but you helpd us anyway
We kept looking at each other and I wanted to talk to you
You had dark hair in a ponytail and a wonderful smile

I would like to get together if you are willing

Golden Corral - m4w (Arlington Rd)

Looking for the beautiful woman at Golden Corral around 1:30pm Sat 2/25. You were wearing a hat (I thought Ohio State) and were with a child (I'll guess your son) and he was wearing a Colt McCoy jersey. I sat a few tables in front of you, closer to the buffet. There's a greater chance I'll win the lottery, but if you see this tell me what team was on my hat?
