Ask DoubleTree to Deliver You Some Free Stuff Today

DoubleTree is over in Willard Park today giving away chocolate chip cookies and other stuff until 5 o'clock, which is reason enough to get up from your cubicle and walk over there and ignore your boss and that thing he just told you to do. It's part of the hotel chain's "Little Things Project," which also includes a "Swarm Car" that is driving around downtown delivering choice items to folks who tweet at DoubleTree with a #littlethings hashtag. They claim to have delivered lobster and flowers in other cities, though nothing confirmed yet in Cleveland.

A quick look at the hashtag on Twitter shows what some people are asking for. It's also evidence that perhaps #littlethings was a poor hashtag choice for this promotion.

Or maybe that young lady is asking DoubleTree to come to her house to videotape her cat licking itself? Who knows? Go wild, Cleveland.

Anyway, people will also be rappelling down the side of the DoubleTree tomorrow in support of Special Olympics Ohio, so go watch that.
