Less than a week after we told you about a mess of stuff Cloud Nothings have going on for the rest of 2012, one of Cleveland's best just announced that they'll be joining Silversun Pickups as openers on their upcoming fall tour of the states.

That's good news for Cloud Nothings, who've been building buzz for the past couple years thanks to small club shows and a few festival dates.

The tour with Silversun Pickups should expose them to some larger theater-size audiences, since the Pickups can fill those kinda rooms across the nation.

The tour should also expose them to music fans who miss the days when Smashing Pumpkins were super-huge.

The tour makes a stop at House of Blues on October 21. Tickets for that concert go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. at the usual places, including livenation.com and the House of Blues box office. —Michael Gallucci
