'BURN' Documentary Screening Coming to Cleveland Next Week

BURN, a documentary showing life as a firefighter in Detroit, will be screened in Cleveland Jan. 14 and 15 at Tower City Cinemas.

Press materials for the film highlight possible parallels between our (woefully inadequate) neighbor in Michigan:

Detroit is a picture of the future of American industrial cities in a post-industrial age: One foot in a prosperous past, with an uncertain next act, struggling to survive in a changing economy.

Detroit sees 30 structural fires each day, a very high number compared to other major U.S. cities, making for a unique case study. The film promises an in-depth look into a facet of life that many are fortunate enough to never experience.
