From the sounds of it, the new music comes off a bit more dynamic than the band's first outing several years ago. (The album's trailer, which includes at least a portion of one new song, is embedded below. Also, the band's 2009 debut album is available to stream at the bottom of this page.)
The new song has a really great, ascendant melody lighting up the chorus. Singer Justin Vernon, of Bon Iver renown, fills out the landscape with rich vocal work and a deep sense of emotion running through his words.
