That sound in the streets of Seven Hills and in Scene's offices is whooping applause and celebration, for David Bentkowski, the Bizarre Boy (Former) Mayor and current councilman-at-large, did not file paperwork for re-election this November.
The deadline was June 12, and he of the hot suing hand was absent from the pile, meaning the good people of Seven Hills are rid of him (for now — and god forbid he ever run again and they vote for the guy.)
To thoroughly enjoy the Full Bentkowski, as we like to call it, dig through our archives after you get done high-fiving whoever is next to you.
