This week, Doug Brown profiled "Steve" and "Luke," two buddies who fell deeply into debt with their bookies years ago before switching sides and becoming bookies themselves.

There's plenty to love about the story, including a few fun blind items, the details of how running an illegal side business can squelch any semblance of a personal life, and the constant paranoia that one of your clients will dime you out to the cops.
