Rapper Kid Cudi to Play Wolstein Center in March

Posted By on Wed, Feb 5, 2014 at 1:40 PM

At 2 p.m. today, Prime Social Group, a concert promoter based in Columbus, will announce that they’ve booked rapper Kid Cudi to perform at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25 at the Wolstein Center. A Clevelander who moved to Brooklyn several years ago to launch a successful career, Cudi continually references his love for Cleveland during interviews. He often makes references to his Cleveland roots in his lyrics too. Cudi initially signed to Kanye West’s GOOD Music but has since left the label to start up Wicked Awesome Records, his own record label. He’s had some success as an actor too and has made appearances in HBO’s How to Make it in America and Fox’s Brooklyn Nine-Nine. He’ll appear in the forthcoming action flick Need for Speed as well. Cleveland rapper King Chip (formerly known as Chip Tha Ripper) shares the bill. Tickets start at $20 and they go on sale at noon on Friday.
