RANKED: Cleveland Named One of the Best U.S. Cities for Singles

Posted By on Thu, Feb 6, 2014 at 8:56 AM

Valentine's Day, the equal parts loved and hated "Hallmark Holiday," is quickly approaching, but Clevelanders still looking for Feb. 14 date may be in luck.

The folks over at Nerd Wallet, a consumer advocacy site, recently conducted a study and found that Cleveland is one of the best cities in the U.S. for singles.

Nerd Wallet looked at several things to come up with the ranking including the percentage of the  population that is unmarried, the number of bars and restaurants per 1000 residents, the city's walkability, the cost of a date, and the unemployment rate.

Cleveland ranked first in the number of available singles at a whoppin' 77% and sixth overall.
