If you've been waiting for the purrfect time to pick up a new pal, wait no more. Tomorrow, the Cleveland Animal Protective league is offering up Dollar Cat Day (Yes, it's a play off of Progressive Field's long-standing Dollar Dog Night).

Friday only, folks can take home an adult cat over one year of age for just a buck, while kittens will be available for just $10 (Regularly adults cats run $45 and kittens are $95).

All adoptable cats from the APL have been spayed-neutered, tested for heartworm or FeLV/FIV and have received worm and flea vaccinations. Also included is a free initial veterinary exam and eligibility for 30-45 days of free ShelterCare pet health insurance.

Browse all adoptable pets at clevelandapl.org, then head over to the Cleveland APL tomorrow — they're open late, until 8 p.m.
