National Geographic: Holmes County One The Of Best Spots In The World To See Autumn Leaves

One of the best spots in the world for fall leaf appreciators is Holmes County, according to National Geographic. The mag placed the rural Ohio county — just more than an hour's drive from Cleveland — above global tourist destinations like Bavaria, Germany, and Kyoto, Japan.

In their "Top 10 Places to See Autumn Leaves" list, Holmes County is third globally:

In the heart of central Ohio’s Amish Country, maple, oak, and the iconic state tree, the buckeye, hang over narrow roads that meander through wavy fields of corn.
