Midnight Syndicate Makes Live Debut at Cedar Point’s HalloWeekends

Posted By on Thu, Oct 9, 2014 at 4:24 PM

The local Goth/electronic group Midnight Syndicate has been releasing albums for years now. But the group, which relies heavily on intricate orchestral music that’s created in the studio, hasn’t been able to put together a live show. Until now. The duo — Edward Douglas (pictured) and Gavin Goszka — has created a multimedia horror concert for Cedar Point’s HalloWeekends. The shows blend “instrumental music, sound effects, eerie videos and on-stage adventures.” “My family and I came to Cedar Point often when I was growing up, so having the opportunity to be a part of HalloWeekends has been a thrill for me personally,” says Douglas in a press release. “I feel our show complements the other incredible live entertainment at HalloWeekends by offering something a little different. If you enjoy haunted houses and the spookier side of Halloween, then the Midnight Syndicate LIVE! show is perfect for you!” The show takes place at 7:30, 9 and 10:30 p.m. on Fridays, at 6, 7:30, 9 and 10:30 p.m. on Saturdays and at 2, 4 and 6 p.m. on Sundays at Cedar Point’s Ghoul Time Theatre.
