Audio: Bob Marley and the Wailers at the Agora Ballroom, 1975

It's gloomy as shit out there today, Cleveland, and we at Scene firmly believe the only antidote for weather like this is good reggae and fine coffee. You're on your own for the latter, but we can certainly help you out with the music. Today, we present a ridiculously good Bob Marley show from 1975, performed right here at the Agora Ballroom.

For what it's worth, given how much time has passed, the audio is pretty nice here. It's got that classic AUD recording vibe, with plenty of crowd cheers complementing Aston Barrett's awesome, awesome bass work.

Even casual fans are familiar with Marley's hits. And they're all really great. (If you don't have the Songs of Freedom box set in your stash, then please do fix that error asap.) But there's something distinct and lively about hearing the band live and in their prime. The Agora's about as a fine as anywhere to do so — and this here Youtube clip is the next best thing, nearly 40 years later.

Slave Driver
