Chris Cornell Acoustic Tour Coming to Lakewood Civic

Concert Announcement

Posted By on Tue, Jun 2, 2015 at 10:40 AM

Soundgarden/Audioslave singer Chris Cornell has announced he’ll release a new solo album in September, and the tour in support of the release will come to Lakewood Civic Auditorium on Thursday, Oct. 8. Cornell has played the Civic Auditorium in the past — it’s well-suited to his acoustic sets that include solo material as well as stripped down renditions of Soundgarden and Audioslave tunes.

Fans who sign up for Chris Cornell’s email list will receive an exclusive link and code word to purchase tickets in advance of the public on-sale date. American Express card members can get advance tickets beginning tomorrow at 10 a.m. Tickets for the general public will go on-sale beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday. One dollar from every ticket sold will go to the Chris and Vicky Cornell Foundation, a charitable organization that “helps to protect the children facing problems such as homelessness, poverty, abuse or neglect.” For additional ticket purchase info, please visit http://chriscornell.com/
