Backstage Pass: An Interview with for KING & COUNTRY

Often compared to U2 and Coldplay, Aussie duo for KING & COUNTRY makes atmospheric pop music that often includes interludes of hip-hop. Songs such as "Run Wild" and "No Turning Back," both of which are on the band's 2014 album Run Wild. Live Free. Love Strong., feature anthemic choruses and spiritually charged lyrics.
Yesterday, the group played an unplugged show at the Aloft hotel on the East Bank of the Flats. The concert was part of Live at Aloft Hotels, a music series that features up-and-coming artists performing stripped down sets. We spoke to the band backstage briefly before it played.
