If you're not listening to the Browns' new podcast — the Brownscast — then you're missing out. By a long shot, it's more enlightening than even watching the Browns on Sundays.

Max Linsky, of renown, has interviewed Joe Thomas, Andrew Hawkins and equipment manager Brad Melland thus far. This week, he adds Jim Brown to his show's lineup.

Stream the episode below.

Pretty early on in the interview, Brown asks Linsky to cut it out with the "cute" questions (Linsky opens with the locker room speech Brown gave before the 1964 championship game). Immediately, Linsky wrangles the conversation into one that dives deep into an interview between Brown and Alex Haley about race in America.

"It's interesting how you went from being cute to touching on an interview that really meant something to me," Brown says. "That's a big jump, and I appreciate it."

It's a hell of a good talk from there.
