Fans of the Christmas classic A Christmas Story have another chance to experience Christmas in the original house where the movie was filmed this year. Bidding begins Dec. 1 at 5:30 p.m. for a two-day and two-night stay that includes scheduled activities for four, as well as tickets to the Great Lakes Science Center.

Activities include film screenings and a large, FRA-GI-LE Major Award crate delivered to the front door. Winners will also receive a ton of complimentary swag, but bidding is not for the casual fan. Winning bids in years past have come in between $3,000 and $5,000.

The best part (besides shooting a BB gun in the backyard)? All proceeds from the charity auction go toward A Christmas Story House Foundation, which provides grants to qualified residents for home restoration projects.

Whether you're serious about bidding, or just living vicariously, check out the schedule below:

  • 10am: Personal behind-the-scenes tour of A Christmas Story House & Museum
  • 12pm: Check into A Christmas Story House
  • Large FRA-GI-LE Major Award crate delivered to the front door of the house (yours to keep – crowbar provided to open!).
