Malley's Chocolates is doing away with their old rewards program and launching a brand new one on March 1.

The change comes just in time for Easter, their busiest candy season of the year. The company says a new VIP loyalty card program will give customers 15 percent off gift box assortments and dine-in ice cream purchases. Card holders will also receive member-only perks like coupons and secret sales.

The new card will cost you $10 a year and is non-transferable. Customers who bought a $5 loyalty card within the past year can continue to use it until the card expires, but cards bought before Dec. 1, 2013 will expire on Monday.

Malleys' current loyalty program also gives cardholders 15 percent off purchases, but it doesn't come with additional discounts and perks.

Stop by a Malley's Chocolates store for more info about the new cards, or email program director Karen Schauer at You can also call their customer service line at (800) 275-6255.
