The third annual Cleveland Animals Bar Crawl, which takes place on April 9 across five different animal-named bars in Cleveland, combines two of our favorite things: drinking and supporting a good cause.

This year, the bar crawl doesn’t commence at one particular bar at one particular time. Rather it’s “unleashed” at 4 p.m. at the Flying Monkey Pub, Fat Cats, Thirsty Parrot, Harry Buffalo and Hoopples. Four shuttles will transport crawlers to and from each bar from 4:30 to 10:30 p.m. At 10 p.m., the Velvet Dog will host the official after party, which will feature a DJ, photobooth and contests.

To sign up, purchase one of the official Cleveland Animals Bar Crawl T-Shirts for $25. Proceeds from shirts go directly to the Cleveland Animal Protective League. Buying a shirt provides shuttle access, gets you into the VIP section at Velvet Dog and allows you to order drink specials at the bars.

Crawlers must pick shirts up prior to the crawl at early shirt pick-up, or on the day of the event. Early shirt pickup begins at 4 p.m. on Friday, April 8, at the Velvet Dog. On the day of the event, you can pick up a shirt at 2:30 p.m. outside of the Flying Monkey.
