We hope catching all of those Pokemon was worth it.

Several fake wi-fi networks were set up around The Q on Monday to see just how many RNC goers would gleefully glob on to any wi-fi they could get their hands on without so much considering the security of the connection or the origin of the signal.

Avast Security, an IT company, set up the network experiment and reported that about 1,200 people tapped into the unsecured signals. Out of all those people, 68 percent of them had sensitive data compromised (they scanned but didn't save any of it, they said).

In case you're wondering, about 5 percent of user played Pokemon Go, and 0.2 percent accessed porn, which isn't surprising given this news.
