Singer-Songwriter Anne E. DeChant to Play PAND Benefit Concert at Mahall's

For decades now, singer-songwriter Anne E. DeChant has been a fixture on the local music scene. Her music has always had an element of activism to it.

She’s just announced that on Aug. 9 at Mahall’s she’ll join members of the Cleveland Orchestra, Ioana Missits, Emma Shook, Dane Johansen, Frank Rosenwein, Carolyn Warner, Yun-Ting Lee and Analise Kukelhan in a concert to benefit Performers and Artists for Nuclear Disarmament (PAND).

Dubbed What a Wonderful World, Don’t Blow It, the event aims to draws attention to the “great planet we live on” and raise awareness about how nuclear weapons could destroy it.

Since 1984, PAND has worked to inspire action through art.

The festivities begin at 7 p.m. Donations will be accepted. For more information, visit peaceactioncleveland.org or call 216.264.3955.
