Two years ago, alternative rockers Primus brought set up shop at the Masonic Auditorium and delivered a set that alternated between old school tunes and material from their latest album, Primus and the Chocolate Factory with the Fungi Ensemble.

In advance of the release of The Desaturating Seven, the band’s first studio album of original material with the classic Primus line-up of Les Claypool (vocals, bass), Larry LaLonde (guitar) and Tim Alexander (drums) since 1995's Tales From the Punchbowl, the band has announced dates for a fall tour.

The group performs at Goodyear Theater in Akron on Nov. 2.

A Primus fan/VIP presale starts at 10 a.m. tomorrow, and Friends of the Goodyear Theater will have the opportunity to purchase presale tickets on Thursday.

Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Friday at the Goodyear Theater box office and Ticketfly.com.  Fans can also purchase tickets by calling 877.4.FLY.TIX (877.435.9849).
