One Grandma's Reaction to Yan Gomes' Walk-Off Home Run is the Cutest Thing

Posted By on Wed, Aug 9, 2017 at 9:44 AM

Last night, Indians catcher Yan Gomes proved once again why spectators should never leave a game before the ninth inning is over — with a three-run walk-off home run.

One Tribe fan in particular took the moment to heart, and her stunned reaction at Progressive Field was caught on camera (and subsequently Twitter) by her grandson Ben Waters. Since midnight, the post has garnered more than 2,400 likes and 500 retweets.

The Indians take on the Rockies once again at 12:10 p.m. today. Meaning it could be a great day for a long lunch. Who's to say how this one will end?
