If you're anything like us, every week in Cleveland could technically be considered a beer week of sorts. What makes this week different is the official events. Yes, the annual Cleveland Beer Week is back in full swing staring today through Sun, Oct. 22 (which is longer than seven days, but that's OK).

While there are far more events that you can physically attend, here are a few of the highlights you should probably check out:

Collaboration Kickoff
The event officially kicks off Friday, Oct. 13 at bars in Ohio City, Tremont, Downtown Willoughby, Lakewood and Flats East Bank. Thirty-three local breweries created seven small-batch collaboration IPAs just for the event, and you can try them all ... only if you want. A passport allows you to walk around the bars in the the neighborhood of your choosing. Advance tickets are required and will set you back $25.

Deep Brew Sea
Running from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Greater Cleveland Aquarium on Monday, Oct. 16 Deep Brew Sea will feature more than 10 beer stations and food pairings. Tickets include a special event T-shirt, a tasting cup, a souvenir photo and a raffle ticket. Advance tickets are required. Those cost $45, or $60 for VIP, which includes early entry.

RARE
According to the press release announcing RARE, the finale for Beer Week, "the beers at RARE will represent the pinnacle of the Brewmasters' artistry while providing our guests with a literally once-in-a-lifetime beer experience." The $100 ticket includes 15 pour tickets (the pour sizes will range from two to four ounces) and a buffet dinner. You can also bid on items in the Great Craft Beer Silent Auction. Advance tickets required. Proceeds benefit the Malone Scholarship Fund ($50 of the ticket cost is tax deductible). The event takes place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21 at the Wolstein Center.
