Update: The nameless now have names. The three baby otters born at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo back in September have officially been dubbed Adhi (first), Bejo (lucky) and Cipto (to create).

The zoo announced today that the names are meant to reflect the Asian small-clawed otters' heritage, and were selected by a naming contest open to the public.

The healthy pups continue to grow and are now swimming with ease, as seen in this Cleveland Metroparks Zoo video.

(Updated post 12/19/2017): Cleveland Metroparks Zoo announced today that the "wait is over." The trio of male otter pups have officially joined their parents in the outdoor otter habitat, the zoo said on its various social media accounts.

The playful babies should be out and about most mornings, moving between their outdoor and indoor locations.

Check out the pups' first time out in their new RainForest digs below:

(Original Post 11/17/2017): It's been a busy year for newborn animals at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, and this morning came with yet another birth announcement. Three male otter pups were born on September 24 to proud otter parents Bitzy and Kibble.

As Asian small-clawed otters are born with their eyes closed, the zoo took a few weeks to introduce the babies to the public. The trio is expected to be released into The RainForest exhibit with their parents within the next few weeks, the zoo said in a statement.

Check out how the pups are doing with this Metroparks Zoo-released video:
