In preparation for the primary election in May, voter registration for the Ohio primary race ends today. And there's a ton going on you'll want to have a say in.

A total of 477 local issues are on ballots in 83 of Ohio's 88 counties. In addition, registered voters also get to pick the party nominees for governor, attorney general, secretary of state, auditor and treasurer. The Ohio governor race is already picking up steam, as candidates Mike DeWine and Mary Taylor look to nab the Republican party nomination while Richard Cordray, Dennis Kucinich, Bill O'Neill, Connie Pillich and Joe Schiavoni vie for the Democratic spot.

If you've recently moved, make sure that your voter registration has been updated to reflect the change of address or you will be unable to cast a vote for the primary election.

In order to register, you need an Ohio driver’s license or Ohio identification card number, your name, date of birth and address, and the last four digits of your Social Security number. Registration can be done by online by visiting Vote.Org.

Information on all of the legislation and ballot issues are available at MyOhioVote.com.

For those wanting to register in person, paper registration forms also are available at local election boards and public libraries.

Early voting for the primary begins Tuesday, April 10.
