The Corner Alley in uptown is closing at the end of the month. While the restaurant and bowling alley has operated in its University Circle spot since 2014, the venue was apparently too big to keep operations going.

Management of Corner Alley told Cleveland 19 that, "As with all developments, we have learned what works best for this site as time has gone on. While uptown has been very successful, we found that Corner Alley Uptown was far too large for the market."

Thankfully for bowling fans, the closing of the uptown location won't affect the downtown location. The building is going to be leased out to several smaller occupants, including a new taco and tequila restaurant.
