Grog Shop to Host Reggae Women Rock Against Cancer Benefit

Many of the local artists performing at the Reggae Women Rock Against Cancer concert that takes place at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 25, at the Grog Shop in Cleveland Heights have either had cancer or had a family member or friend who’s had cancer.

As a result, the performers have decided to donate all the proceeds from the concert to two families in need.



The lineup includes Sista T [pictured], Ms. BBC, Mz. Ice, Barbara Barrett, Mama Oladeji, Sister Ceco Salinas, Milton Blake, JR Blessington, Sister Sameerah, Jahtamarie and Charmel.

Tickets, which cost $10 in advance, can be purchased at the Grog Shop, Ocho Rios, and Engel’s Bar and Grille or from any of the artists who are slated to perform.
