[image-1] On Nov. 6, Ohioans will vote on a whole bunch of key issues and races, including the Governor race, Congressional representatives, school levies and whether or not to amend the state constitution to reduce penalties for drug-related crimes, among many other things.

The deadline to register to vote in November’s general election is Tuesday, Oct. 9.

There are many resources online to register to vote or check to make sure you are registered and haven't been removed from the rolls. You can also check to see where your polling station is, get a ride there and, well, basically everything else you could possibly need to be ready to vote on Nov. 6.

Here are a few direct links to get you started:

• If you know you are not registered, click here to do so online.

You will need your Ohio driver’s license or Ohio identification card numbers, as well as the last four digits of your social security number.

You can also find info on how to update your registration details (as well as forms to do so) at the same site.

The online Ohio Voter Toolkit allows you to check to make sure you are still registered and able to vote in November, as well as your official polling station and its address (be sure it hasn’t changed) and what congressional, senate and state representative district will be on your ballot.

Click here to see if you are registered.

Click here to find your polling location.

MyOhioVote.com has even more voting information for Ohio, including details on absentee voting, early voting, ID requirements and more.

Visit vote411.org to find non-partisan, unbiased info on Ohio and Kentucky’s state races and issues. The League of Women Voters’ resources allow you to customize a ballot for your precise location and also has links to register for districts all over the country.
