After last year’s successful New Year’s Eve party with the Columbus-based indie rock act Red Wanting Blue, the Goodyear Theatre in Akron will again host the band for its 2018 Holiday Bash. The event takes place on Saturday, Dec. 29.

Singer-songwriter Will Hoge and indie rockers the Building, a band featuring Youngstown native and War on Drugs' guitarist Anthony LaMarca, will open the show.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, and VIP packages that include a pre-show meet and greet with the band as well as breakfast the next morning with the group are available.
