Supreme Court of the United States Associate Justice, feminist icon, national hero and punk-as-hell dissenter, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, will be talking about women’s rights work via Skype before a Cleveland Marshall School of Law screening of RBG, a documentary chronicling her life.

RBG played earlier this year at both the Cleveland International Film Festival and subsequent screenings at the Cedar Lee Theatre after the film's distribution, but RBG is getting another pre-election screening to inspire the masses.

The documentary focuses on Justice Ginsburg's early years studying law when women were frequently pushed aside and discounted, all the way to her historic appointment as the second woman to ever join the United States Supreme Court.

This groundbreaking film from Betsy West and Julie Cohen dives deep into RBG's life from the perspective of historical impact as well as personal testimony from her family and friends. At 85-years-old, Ruth Bader Ginsburg is still arguably one of the most badass women in America.

The Notorious RBG herself is scheduled to call in at 4:30 p.m. on Friday in the moot court room at Cleveland Marshall, 1801 Euclid Ave. The movie screening will begin at 5 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public. To attend, email cmlaa.csu@gmail.com.
