Shaker Heights 'Jeopardy' Winner Defends His Title Tonight

Shaker Heights' own Steven Oppenheim won Jeopardy Friday and is scheduled to defend his title tonight.

The supply-chain analyst racked up $33,201 in winnings after competing just one day, handily beating out the competition.

When longtime host Alex Trebek gave the final clue: "This U.S. Group was formed to protect settlers in an area that had recently gained independence from Spain," Oppenheim was the only contestant to answer correctly with "What are the Texas Rangers?"

Even before Oppenheim was deemed the winner, he seemed to be having quite a good time on stage, as Jeopardy's Twitter account pointed out below:
