Posted By on Mon, Feb 4, 2019 at 12:06 PM

[image-1]Officially held the day before Valentine's Day, the Parks and Recreation-inspired Galentine’s Day honors and traditionally celebrates women, waffles, friendship and mimosas. Here are seven Cleveland events doing things in true Leslie Knope style later this month.

Galentine’s Day / Ladies Celebrating Ladies
Feb. 13
13603 Madison Ave.
Yuzu is hosting a brunch-style Galentine’s Day this year so you can kick it with your girlfriends and leave your boyfriends and husbands to fend for themselves. They'll be serving a 100-percent vegan brunch all night, from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and have $3 Truly’s as well as complimentary wine samples every hour.

Galentine’s Day: Blind Date with a Book
Feb. 13
15208 Madison Ave.
The Reading Room CLE and Fear’s Confections are putting on an event for women who love literature, so bring your best girlfriend, or come solo, and just celebrate women and books. With each ticket you get a surprise novel from the Reading Room CLE and a hot drink or brownie. Tickets are $10. Find them here.

Galentine’s Day Meetup Photoshoot
Feb. 10
13000 Athens Ave.
Galentine's is a great excuse to have a photo shoot with your gal pals, so Amber Patrick of aterrormusical photography is offering just that. The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and tickets include 15 minutes of photos for two, five edited images, and plenty of snacks and drinks. Tickets are $25. Find more information here.

Galentine’s Day/Paint a Boyfriend
Feb. 11
21194 Center Ridge Rd.
When you can paint a boyfriend while drinking wine with your best female friends, there's no reason you need a real boyfriend this Valentine's season. Wine & Design is celebrating Galentine's Day this year with dating horror stories, so bring wine and snacks and paint your masterpiece from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets are $35. Purchase tickets here.

Ohio City Galley Galentine’s Day
Feb. 14
1400 W. 25th St.
The Ohio City Galley, along with Copper & Kings American Brandy, is coming in clutch this Galentine's Day with crazy cocktails, delicious food and of course, live music from DJ Candi Fresca. Enjoy Galentine's from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and don't worry about a cover charge. Find out more here.

Play/Make/Drink - Galentine’s!
Feb. 13
15715 Madison Ave.
Get your hands dirty this Galentine's Day and learn how to make clay pots with Heather Mariano and Lauren H-B at Play Grounds Cafe. With the purchase of a ticket you get yummy pastries and drinks from the coffee bar, as well as enough materials to create at least three clay pots. Tickets are $45. Get them here.

Galentine’s Day Wine Dinner
Feb. 14
5800 Detroit Ave.
No Galentine's celebration is truly complete without wine, so Spice Kitchen + Bar is hosting a four-course dinner, along with the three most important things: caviar, champagne and chocolate, and wine pairings will finish off the meal. Tickets are $75. Find out more information here
