Now in its 73rd year, the annual CWRU Book Sale will take place from Saturday, June 1, through Tuesday, June 4, in Adelbert Gym, 2128 Adelbert Rd. on the campus of Case Western Reserve University.

Back in the day, the sale began with book donations, but over time, it has grown to include music (vinyl, CDs and sheet music), movies, games, puzzles and “ephemera.”

This year, more than 80,000 items were donated.

Hours are noon to 5 p.m. on June 1 and June 2, noon to 5 p.m. on June 3 and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 4. Admission is free except from 10 a.m. to noon on June 1 when earlybird visitors pay a $20 admission. Funds raised will support the Association for Continuing Education's adult education programs.

Margaret Bernstein, the locally based author of the children’s series Donuts for Dad and WKYC-TV’s Director of Advocacy and Community Initiatives, will be on hand for a book signing that takes place from 1 to 5 pm. on Sunday, June 2.
