After packing the house earlier this year for WFC 99, MGM Northfield Park Center Stage will host another big boxing event, WFC 107, on Saturday, June 8.

"We're looking forward to hosting live boxing for the first time ever at Center Stage inside MGM Northfield Park,” MGM Northfield Park Director of Entertainment Randy Maddocks says in a press release. “Northeast Ohio boxing fans have been waiting years for a knock-out event like this, and World Fighting Championships always delivers."

The event pairs Cleveland native and former WBO/NABO champion Antonio Nieves (18-3) against former WBA champion Jose Alfredo Rodríguez (31-9) of Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico in an eight-round bout.

“We are excited to bring world-class boxing to Northeast Ohio with WFC 107,” WFC President Matt McGovern says. “Our last event in Northfield featured a sellout crowd and incredible competition. We have high expectations for WFC 107, and we know that boxing fans won’t want to miss this one.”

Another pro fight pits Alliance’s Ryizeemmion Ford against Cleveland’s Darnell Pettis. In addition, Cleveland’s Alant'e Green will take part in a pro bout.

Doors open at 7 p.m., and the fighting commences at 8 p.m.

Tickets cost $35, $75 and $100.
