Akron-based EarthQuaker Devices has just announced that it has collaborated with the hard rock act SUNN O))) to create Life Pedal, a limited, hand-numbered tube amp designed to "crush octave fuzz and distortion with boost."

Life Pedal provides the kind of “full spectrum overdriven sonic palette” as found on SUNN O)))’s recent Life Metal.

According to a press release, the pedal's "second stage is a purely clean boost to further overdrive the preamp tubes of your vintage system into scaped harmonics and feedback overtone bliss."
