Update: Comedian Jerry Seinfeld has added a second performance to his upcoming Cleveland stop in October, Playhouse Square just announced.

As the richest comic in the world, Seinfeld only makes shows for Netflix and tours to places like Cleveland because he wants to, clearly not because of the money. Since his scheduled performance at the State Theatre on Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. sold out quickly, the funnyman has also added a 9:30 p.m. show.

Tickets go on sale for the just-added time on Friday, Aug. 16 at 10 a.m.

(Original post 7/12/2019): Earlier today, Playhouse Square announced that comedian Jerry Seinfeld will return to the State Theatre to perform at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 11.

Known for his ability to joke about “the little things in life,” Seinfeld currently helms the Emmy-nominated web series, Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. He also recently made his Netflix debut with the original stand-up special Jerry Before Seinfeld.

Most recently, Seinfeld has been performing at the Beacon Theatre in New York City as part of an ongoing residency that he began three years ago.

Tickets to the State Theatre show go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 19.
