'Creed II' Director Steven Caple Jr. To Speak at MoCa Cleveland Aug. 30

Posted By on Tue, Aug 20, 2019 at 12:18 PM

Earlier today, moCa Cleveland announced that its eCLEctic series, Made You Look, will return this month on Friday, Aug. 30 and feature a conversation with Steven Caple Jr., a panel discussion with Cleveland-based music video directors and a musical performance from Case Bargé.

Dubbed the eCLEctic Series, the program celebrates artists, musicians, and entrepreneurs in Cleveland, with each event focusing on a different element of hip-hop culture.

The Aug. 30 event will explore the role of video and film in the world of hip-hop.

A Cleveland native, Caple Jr. has become one of Hollywood’s most sought-after filmmakers. He recently directed the smash hit Creed II, a drama starring Michael B. Jordan, Sylvester Stallone and Tessa Thompson.

Local music video directors Santino Cash, Josh Teplitz and Scenematix will also join the discussion, and local rapper Case Bargé will perform.

The event begins at 7 p.m. Advance tickets cost $15, and student tickets go for $10. Tickets at the door will cost $25.
