On the heels of the Cleveland Rising Summit, organizers of the second Blockland Solutions conference have announced a ticket promotion that they say was hatched with equity and inclusion at top of mind.

Until Nov. 11, every ticket purchased for the conference, (Dec. 9-11 at the Huntington Convention Center), will essentially purchase three tickets. One additional ticket of equivalent value will be provided to "bring a guest," and another ticket will be contributed to a scholarship pool.

The so-called "Rise Up" initiative, which makes reference to the language of Cleveland Rising, invites conference attendees to be part of "the rising tide in Cleveland to help create a more inclusive and prosperous technology ecosystem."

Just like last year, the Blockland Solutions conference will focus on blockchain solutions to civic and corporate problems. It will feature a number of prominent keynote speakers, panel discussions, and a developer workshop on the day before the conference kicks off.

Tickets start at $895, but scholarships are available.
