 Wadsworth Griswold House
    173 Duane Ln., Wadsworth

Head out to Wadsworth and you’ll see one of the coolest residential light displays around. In an homage to the Griswold family from National Lampoon’s Vacation films, this family lights their house up to look just like the home from the movie. From Thanksgiving until New Years, you can see the lights and turn to 102.3 FM to sync music to the lights.

Cavs vs. Golden State
    When: Sun., Dec. 25
In what looks like it's becoming a Christmas Day tradition, the Cavs once again take on the Golden State Warriors. The two teams squared off last Christmas Day on the Warriors' turf and came up just short. The Cavs had the last laugh, however, as they would beat the Warriors in the Finals despite losing to them twice during the regular season. The Warriors have retooled this season, adding Kevin Durant to an already strong roster. Expect this nationally televised game to be a real battle. The game begins at 2:30 p.m. Tickets start at a whopping $175. (Photo courtesy Emanuel Wallace)

    www.playhousesquare.org/events/detail/the-santaland-diaries-1
Produced by Cleveland Public Theatre, The Santaland Diaries is best-selling author David Sedaris’ semi-autobiographical story of a jaded, 33-year-old out-of-work actor who takes a job as “Crumpet the Elf” at a Macy’s department store. As thousands of holiday customers gaily tromp through his display, Crumpet regales the audience with hilarious observations about the realities of holiday cheer, all performed with a sardonic wit that has made The Santaland Diaries an enduring holiday favorite. Starring Ray Caspio. This show is intended for mature audiences. (Photo courtesy Cleveland Public Theatre)
