Today’s very sobering reminder that there are certain lines not to be crossed should you wish to vent about Donald Trump…

25-year-old Zachary Benson of Fairview Park was officially indicted by the Feds yesterday in connection with two tweets he sent on the night of the election. Those tweets:

“Diplomacy. F—-ing fools. I hate you all. I want to bomb every one of your voting booths and your general areas.”

“My life goal is to assassinate Trump. Don’t care if I serve infinite sentences. That man deserves to decease existing.”

Those were sent on the evening of the election as Benson watched results come in and realized, with the rest of the country, that Donald Trump was going to be the next President of the United States.

He woke up the next morning and deleted the tweets, but the damage had already been done. He was visited by the Secret Service the very next day and admitted to sending the tweets, though the complaint does indicate he was apologetic, according to Cleveland.com. Benson was arrested and charged in November. Yesterday U.S Attorney for the Northern District of Ohio Carole S. Rendon announced a grand jury had returned an indictment for one count of making threats against PEOTUS.

Benson is currently free on bond.

  1. Can’t have Twitter without a Twit. Case in point: Orangy Boy himself…oops…make that Himself.

  2. A guy sent an e-mail about wanting to know how to poison his evergreens. He wanted to remove the shrubbery around his house, as it was a lot of work to take care of, and because it also provided cover for thuggery…possible burglaries or muggings.

He planned to remove them after they were dead, and create flowerbeds in their place.

He got a visit from The Suits, after writing “The first thing we do is kill all the bushes.”

    True story.
