ICE Deportation Flights Surge at Ohio’s Akron-Canton Airport as Unpaid Landing Fees Mount
Akron-Canton has become a Great Lakes hub, with planes landing here in the evening, often from a major ICE prison and deportation center in Alexandria, Louisiana, and on occasion directly from Tapachula, Mexico, the end point for many of the deportees.
