Canadian singer/songwriter Loreena McKennitt played to a sold-out crowd at Akron’s Goodyear Theater on Saturday night. Perhaps most-well known for her 1997 charter “The Mummer’s Dance,” McKennitt played for almost two-and-a-half-hours. A blend of Celtic melodies fused with Middle Eastern and other types of traditional world music, she’s sold more than fourteen million albums around the globe.
