Long at the top of West Sixth’s swankier dance clubs, Traffic still keeps it fresh. The upscale downtown danceteria has reshuffled its schedule, creating a distinct vibe on each of its two levels. Friday nights, the club’s downstairs is a den of world dance music, spiced up with techno, house, and salsa. Upstairs, J-Nice hosts 96.5 KISS FM‘s only live broadcast, spinning current hits like Sean Paul’s “We Be Burnin'”; leaning on material like that’ll make you dance.
